The Municipality of Clarington is quickly moving up in the ranks as one of Ontario’s fastest growing communities. The Municipality’s successful blend of urban and rural living provides an unparalleled quality of life and diverse business community and Clarington is poised for the multi-billion dollar infrastructure projects that are slated to commence in the near future. These projects include Darlington Nuclear Refurbishment, Port Granby Project, extension of Hwy 407 to Hwy 35/115 by the year 2020 and key local infrastructure projects.

Another major project that has contributed to the economic growth in Clarington is the 300,000 square foot Darlington Energy Complex in the Clarington Energy Park. The Municipality of Clarington has recently completed the project to extend Lake Road in the South Bowmanville Industrial Business Park to Lambs Rd. (South Service Rd).
